iVIZIA comes from Laboratoires Thea, a French eye care company established in 1994 whose roots run back to the Chibret family, a line of nineteenth century ophthalmologists and inventors who worked on eye drops. Thea was among the first eye care companies to build its range around preservative free formulas, and iVIZIA carries that approach into the United States.
