Editorial policy
How we write about eye health.
Our health pages aim to explain eye conditions and products in plain words, point to where each fact came from, and send you back to your own eye doctor for decisions about your care.

What our pages are for
Information, not a diagnosis.
Reading about dry eye, allergies or contact lens care can help you ask better questions at your next visit. It cannot tell you what is happening in your own eyes. Only an exam by an optometrist or ophthalmologist can do that.
Where facts come from
Our promises to readers.
No paid rankings
Brands cannot pay to be described more favorably on our health pages.
Sources you can check
Each health page lists its references so you can read them yourself.
Kept current
We review pages when guidance or product labels change and correct errors when we find them.

Questions about your eyes?
The best next step is an exam. Our locator lists practices that work with Vision Rescue.
Common questions.
Do you sell the products you write about?
Yes, Vision Rescue is a store, so many products named on our pages are sold here. A link to a product is not a personal recommendation; ask your eye doctor which option suits you.
Can these pages replace a visit to my doctor?
No. They are general education. Eye symptoms need an exam, and some need prompt care.
How do I report a mistake?
Email support@visionrescue.com with the page address and what looks wrong. We review every report.
Sources.
Vision Rescue health pages are for general education only and are not medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your eye doctor.
