The active ingredient is alcaftadine 0.25%, an antihistamine. The solution contains benzalkonium chloride 0.005% and is dosed once daily for adults and children 2 years of age and older. It is only for use in the eye, and for contact lens wearers the lenses come out before the drop goes in and go back in no sooner than 10 minutes after.
