Preservative free 0.9% sodium chloride solution in sterile single use vials. Each vial holds 5 mL (0.17 oz) and the box contains 98 vials. There are no preservatives and no buffering agents; the contents are purified water and sodium chloride. On average a 98 vial box is a three month supply.
This is the unit dose saline that scleral lens wearers use to fill the bowl of the lens before insertion, and that soft, rigid gas permeable, hybrid and hard lens wearers use to rinse a lens before it goes in. Each vial is opened by twisting off the tab, used once, and discarded, so no solution is carried over between uses.

The vials are very practical for filling my scleral lenses with saline before insertion.
Bottom of bottle is uneven
The bottom of the bottle is designed to be a one use bottle for sclera lens users. I am not that. My eye condition requires one regular lenses and one sclera lens. It is wasteful to use half and throw half away. While the product itself suits the lens itself, the bottle design doesn't suit my requirements. I am cutting waste wherever I can due to high prices everywhere.
