The active ingredient is glycerin 0.25%, a lubricant. The solution also contains sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, sodium phosphate dibasic and sodium phosphate monobasic in water. The carton carries NDC 42126-6500-1. The bottle is discarded 90 days after opening. The bottle uses a closing tip, valve and air venting system that prevents microbial entry, which is what allows a multi dose bottle to hold a preservative free solution. Drops are instilled as needed through the day and the cap is replaced after each use.
