Quell is a preservative-free lubricating eye drop designed to help relieve dryness and irritation. It is an MD-developed ophthalmic formula made with glycerol, polysorbate 80 and light mineral oil.
Looking for Manuka honey eye drops? Quell contains Manuka honey, along with emu oil, Dead Sea salt, sterile water and other formulation ingredients. The lubricating and emollient ingredients are glycerol 1.0%, polysorbate 80 1.0% and light mineral oil 0.5%.
Quell is designed to support the tear film with a combination of lubricating and emollient ingredients. The tear film includes a water-based layer and an oil-based layer. Light mineral oil helps support the oil layer, which can help reduce moisture loss from the surface of the eye.
The formula also includes ingredients such as Manuka honey and emu oil. These ingredients are part of the overall formulation and help create an ingredient-forward formula designed for daily dry eye comfort and hydration support.
