Refresh Celluvisc is a sterile, preservative-free lubricant eye drop supplied in 30 single-use vials of 0.4 mL (0.01 fl oz) each. The active ingredient is carboxymethylcellulose sodium 1%, an eye lubricant. The formula is a gel and may cause temporary blurring due to its viscosity. Each vial is opened, used once and discarded.
These are preservative-free artificial tears in single-use vials, the format chosen by people who reach for lubricating drops often enough to want a fresh sterile dose each time and no preservative in the formula. One or two drops go in the affected eye or eyes as needed, at whatever points in the day suit the routine, and the carton of 30 vials covers 30 separate uses.
For the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. May be used as a protectant against further irritation.

To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Do not reuse. Once opened, discard. Do not touch unit-dose tip to eye. If solution changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use.
Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Life Saver
I am a Scleral lens wearer and these drops are my saving grace, literally the only thing that helps with the reducing midday fog and eye irritation. Fill up each contact with the drops and I can go about my day without feeling like I want to rip my eyes out every couple of hours.
Not enough liquid to work
I use a lot of single-use eye drops and these are the worst ones I've tried. Why? There just isn't enough liquid in each dropper to really wash or lubricate my eyes. Also, there isn't enough liquid weight for it to come out easily. I have to shake really hard to get more than one drop out of the container. Often I need these at night and so I'm laying in the dark shaking and squeezing this torn plastic tip at my eyes trying to get the 1 or 2 drops in the thing to actually hit my eyeball. Instead I end up sprinkling my cheeks and forehead. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing this brand again.
