Icelandic cod liver oil in a natural lemon flavor, supplied as a liquid in a 16 fluid ounce (480 mL) bottle. The serving size is 1 teaspoon (5 mL) and the bottle holds 90 servings. Each serving provides 5 g of Icelandic cod liver oil carrying 1,144 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, of which 550 mg is EPA and 510 mg is DHA, plus 750 mcg RAE of vitamin A and 6.25 mcg of vitamin D. A serving contains 40 calories, 4.5 g of total fat and 15 mg of cholesterol.
This is an omega-3 fish oil taken by the teaspoon once a day, for people who would rather take a liquid than swallow softgels. The lemon flavor is built into the oil rather than added as a coating.
